Dear PYE Parents:
We are moving ahead in the process of looking at student placement for next year. We greatly value your thoughts on your child’s needs and are requesting your input at this time. Teams of teachers and administrators review information on the academic and social abilities of each student to determine the best fit for next school year.
As this is a multi-step process taking into account multiple factors for every student, we cannot accept specific teacher requests, but will apply your insights as best we can throughout our placement process.
We will moving forward as usual to promote students to the next grade level unless you have had a specific conversation with your child's teacher on retaining them in the same grade level next year. We will be looking at your child's work completion during the closures, but will not use this marking period solely to make placement decisions.
Please complete the form by Friday, May 22nd. Due to the COVID-19 school closures, we will not be accepting paper copies this year.
